Steve Ballmer’s iPod

Wednesday, January 19th, 2005

Steve Ballmer claims most music on iPods is stolen. He might be right but so will be the most music you’ll find on windows-desktops. Don’t blame the medium. If i put my stolen goods in the garage, is the garage to be blaimed?
Anyway, if you don’t like ’stolen’ goods on your iPod, go subscribe to some podcasts!

I heard Steve Balmer does own an iPod and likes to dance….

Also just installed the firefox-extension for bloglines. Works great!

Friday, January 14th, 2005

I just found this great version of Nirvana’s ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ on www.soundclick.com (where btw you can get thousands of free, legal mp3’s!) by a ‘band’ called Dokoka. You can find it listed under rock->rock general on soundclicks.com. Its vocal without any instruments but not in a way you would expect it: Smells Like Teen Spirit

PHP WTF

Wednesday, January 12th, 2005

Learning something always goes together with making mistakes and learning from those. It is even better if you can learn from other peoples mistakes!

If you are a php-programmer you might want to take a look at the following site:

The PHP WTF

They discuss poorly coded pieces of php-code. They do not only have a laugh at it, thats easy, but also analyse the code and explain why you should avoid certain structures and give you better options. Go check it out!
