Nice Pieter,

the script seems to run just fine, I dont't have an iPod but i changed the script so it dumps the files on my external drive/mp3 player. What I find a bit annoying is the fact that there is no way of knowing what the progress of the download is. I'll hack around a bit with your script.

This is nice. Through a collision of ideas, Adam Curry and Steve Gilmore, Curry created the iPodder, which checks for MP3 enclosures in an RSS feed and then downloads those MP3s and creates an iTunes playlist that can be copied...

I am not using an IPOD, but the first script succeeded simply (IPOD is not more or less than an external HD)
When I try to use this version of the script my Commodore e-VIC music player cannot use this script: Error: could not locate automatsion class named iTunes.Application. Code 80020009 WScript.CreateObject
Yes, I have the itunes software running, it can add all the files from my C-Evic and play it through wintendo

Yes, it can sync automatically but I preffer not to use this option. The reason is that if my Itunes libary is not in sync with my Ipod content my Ipod content will be overwritten with the libary. So if the libary only contains 2 files my ipod will contain 2 files. This is a major flaw in the Itunes software. There is no real synchronization like you would have with your PDA and Outlook for example.

You have it disabled i think. Could be the reason. But, if i understand it right, when you have your ipod connected to your pc it automatically syncs ipod with itunes? If thats the fact then the plus-option is not needed at all. Then adding the files to i-tunes is enough. Don't you think?

Maybe the error is related to the fact that I have the option: " Manually update songs and playlists" enabled? Otherwise Itunes autom. copies new added files to the Ipod and v.v.
I don't want this since I have my songs and content on different HD's.
