The reason is that if my Itunes libary is not in sync with my Ipod content my Ipod content will be overwritten with the libary. So if the libary only contains 2 files my ipod will contain 2 files. This is a major flaw in the Itunes software. There is no real synchronization like you would have with your PDA and Outlook for example. Yes, it can sync automatically but I preffer not to use this option. The reason is that if my Itunes libary is not in sync with my Ipod content my Ipod content will be overwritten with the libary. Could be the reason. But, if i understand it right, when you have your ipod connected to your pc it automatically syncs ipod with itunes? If thats the fact then the plus-option is not needed at all. Otherwise Itunes autom. copies new added files to the Ipod and v.v. I don't want this since I have my songs and content on different HD's.
